Photography is a way of sharing my spirit and celebrating the gifts that God has given me. With camera in hand, I focus on finding extraordinary light - it draws me in like a moth to a flame. I’m always looking for an image that evokes a feeling, message, or emotion.
Currently I am capturing and sharing the joy of new families by photographing newborns in hospitals. I am part of the management team at the Chicago Photographic Arts Society and volunteer at the Chicago Botanic Garden. As part of their CBG Digital Documentation Team, I photograph specific gardens and upload all the photographers' images to the Garden Guide smart phone app after editing and adding metadata in Lightroom. In December I completed the Fine Art Photography Certificate Program at the Chicago Botanic Garden and am a member of the Chicago Photographic Arts Society, American Photographic Society and North Shore Camera Club. My images have been published in the last eleven editions of East on Central and have been exhibited at the Chicago Botanic Garden, Moon Gallery, ArrivaDolce, David Adler Art and Music Center as well as libraries, cafes and coffee houses in the Chicagoland area. In addition to fine art photography, I am also available to help you with your newborn, family portraits, product, small company event, head shots and landscape needs.
Finished images are printed (by me) on an assortment of fine art papers, depending on the type and colors in the image with ChromaLife100 dye based inks. Extra large prints, canvas prints and prints on metal are also available. Please contact me with your questions and orders!
